 TMCnet Contributing Editor
Schwab Performance Technologies ( News - Alert) (SPT), a subsidiary of The Charles Schwab Corporation and a provider of portfolio management and accounting solutions to financial advisors, has forged a partnership with CRM Software, a leading provider of customer relationship solutions for financial advisors.
The arrangement entails the transition of existing PortfolioCenter Relationship Manager clients to CRM Software's Junxure. All through the transition period, which will culminate on June 30, 2008, SPT will continue extending its technical support to advisors.
"This change will provide advisors with a great solution in Junxure, while allowing SPT to invest more time and resources in our leading portfolio management solution, PortfolioCenter," said Dan Skiles, vice president of technology for Schwab Institutional. "CRM Software has an outstanding reputation for service and innovation, and we are confident that advisors will benefit from this upgrade to Junxure."
With an interface quite similar to that of PortfolioCenter Relationship Manager, Junxure comes with additional features like an actions dashboard for displaying a high level view of all pending actions, a global email wizard for sending send rich-text emails to a group of clients, and user rights and rules for letting advisors limit user access to certain areas of the program.
In addition, Junxure clients can access online videos, training classes, and an online support forum. CRM Software is about to launch new improved Junxure 7 soon.
“Junxure was designed by advisors for advisors, and CRM Software has been helping improve advisor efficiency and client service for more than a decade," said CRM Software Vice President Greg Friedman. "We are very excited about our new relationship with Schwab Performance Technologies and will work diligently to ensure a seamless transition for all advisors moving to Junxure."
A CRM Software data conversion specialist will undertake the management of each advisor’s transition to Junxure at the advisor's convenience.
