Mr. Korell has a distinguished record of leadership in the mortgage industry. As President, Lender and Investment Services, of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc., Korell oversaw the negotiations, purchase and successful operational integration of Prudential Home Mortgage, a $3 billion acquisition. He has also served as President/CEO of GMAC Mortgage Group, a leading nationwide residential, commercial and multi-family real estate finance firm, and President/CEO of Residential Funding Corporation, a major real estate securities business with assets exceeding $1 billion and annual securities issuance of $13 billion during his tenure. Mr. Korell joins Root Markets from W.J. Bradley Company, a national private equity firm, where he was Senior Managing Director. Before joining W.J.
