Skype Teams with DigiLinea to Reach Out to the Latin American Community

DigiLinea, a Voice over IP  (VoIP) infrastructure and service provider, has entered into a joint venture with Skype ( News - Alert), the global internet communication company, to provide internet calls to selected Latin American markets.
The DigiLinea platform offers local Latin American numbers, unlimited calling plans, and direct termination. With DigiLinea, service providers will be able to quickly and efficiently launch customized internet-calling services that lower their customers' cost of communications to and from Latin America, while increasing service-provider revenue and profit per line.
Commenting on their partnership with Skype on this, DigiLinea CEO and Chairman Gregory Keough said in a statement, "They realize that Latinos spend more per month on telecom services than other demographic groups, due to their high volume of calling to and from Latin America. By partnering with DigiLinea, Skype will be able to offer features that address the specific needs of the Latin American markets."
These plans combined with VoIP offer an extremely compelling product offering to Latin American clients.
"By using DigiLinea service providers can immediately offer calling services that meet Latinos' specific needs and provide for a great competitive differentiator, which both lowers churn and provides greater revenue and profits per line," Keough added. "These plans when bundled with any communications service whether VoIP, cellular, or land line provide for an extremely compelling product offering to Latin American clients."
