Virgin Media, Radialpoint Team on Broadband Security

United Kingdom-based broadband service provider Virgin Media is introducing Radialpoint's Consumer Security Services for its more than 3 million customers.
"Radialpoint's end-to-end security services are easy-to use and proven to keep our customers safe when online,” said Ernie Cormier, chief commercial officer of Virgin Media, in a statement. “In addition, Radialpoint's managed services delivery and enablement model was flexible and scalable enough to handle the back office complexities of the recent merger, while ensuring continued customer protection and satisfaction."
Called PCguard, the security service offers full online protection and includes firewall  , anti-virus, pop-up blocker and privacy manager features. PCguard Total, available to premium broadband customers, includes PCguard features as well as extra anti-spyware, identity theft protection and parental control features.
According to a news release, Radialpoint's value-added services (VAS) delivery and enablement model also offers exclusive additional features such as a simplified process to discover, acquire, and use new services; instant access to security service information; and automatic updates to protect against evolving online threats.
