Everstream Expands Television Viewer Measurement

CLEVELAND --(Business Wire)-- Everstream, a Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR) company and industry leader of software for broadband network usage measurement, today announced the release of its ReportOne 2.0 Channeling solution, designed for comprehensive collection and rapid reporting for digital broadcast and on-demand television channels. This innovative TV measurement module is available to Everstream's growing footprint, which surpassed the 20 million digital subscribers mark earlier this month.

"The 20 million digital subscriber milestone proves the industry has reached critical mass with regard to being a significant source for next generation audience measurement," stated Charlie Lougheed, president and co-founder of Everstream. "We believe this year will mark the advent of new capabilities and relationships that will drive content expansion and dynamic advertising between operators and networks."

Built atop the Everstream DataSuite(TM) collection and warehousing framework, the ReportOne Channeling solution standardizes disparate data sources ranging from guide middleware, set-top boxes, and switched digital video systems. Combined with the ubiquitous support for long tail video on demand and internet streaming content, ReportOne enables powerful analysis and secure data sharing capabilities across multiple video distribution outlets.

Everstream's ReportOne 2.0 software package now supports Microsoft's popular MSTV platform, as well as support for standard audience measurement metrics such as ratings, reach, and share. These capabilities enable operators to delineate viewing time versus channel surfing time, as well as analyze channel packaging and advertising potential. ReportOne comes equipped with a wide array of concise dashboards, scorecards and report templates compliant with industry standards and subscriber privacy regulations. In addition, the platform is designed to enable report customization to accommodate the unique requirements of each business user.

"The old adage, 'In God we trust, all others bring data,' is a definitive fact of life now," said Rick Sizemore, multimedia content, and interactive digital advertisement expert for iSuppli. "Census-based tools that deliver detailed audience measurement data can save the advertising industry billions of dollars."
