Take a perfect shot of yourself [New Straits Time (Malaysia)]

(New Straits Time (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Q: What is different about this camera A: Remember the times when you want to take a picture of yourself but there's no one to hold the camera Well, this camera offers a solution. This ultra compact 16-megapixel camera has a 1.5 inch front LCD to enable you to take self portraits easily.

Just hold the camera at arm's length, look at the LCD and frame yourself perfectly for the shot.

It has a 5x optical zoom lens with a range of 25-125mm. The wide angle lens enables you to capture yourself as well as your surroundings.

Q: Does it support WiFi connectivity A: Yes, this camera has outstanding wireless features. You can wirelessly transfer photos to any Android or iOS devices or Windows PC. You can also upload photos and videos to Facebook, Picasa, YouTube, Photobucket or email directly from the camera.

Q: What additional capabilities does it have A: If you need to capture a photo of a child, the Play Children Mode animation will come in handy. The front facing LCD can play animations to attract the attention of children.

For photo manipulating, the camera has a number of in-camera apps to enhance your images.

A feature called Motion Photo allows you to freeze time around a moving subject. You can capture a subject in action while everyone else is still.

The Picture in Picture feature allows you to insert one picture within another, then adjust its position and size. There is an option to even add a video clip to one of your still photos. Another option called Funny Face allows you to put goofy grins, comical noses and crazy eyes on people. The camera tracks your friends faces even when you move it.

Another app called Magic Frame has 12 background templates to turn your portrait into an old film still or put your face on a billboard. Finally, Artistic Brush turns all your pictures into sketches.

Q: Value for money A: The little DV300F can post pictures to social networking sites just like it's bigger brother, the Samsung Galaxy Camera, which, however, is three times more expensive. Add to that, it's compact, easy to carry size, and you have an extremely useful camera.
