Netgear's CG4500TM Gateway certified by CableLabs DOCSIS 3.0Dec 20, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- MaxLinear, Inc. (NYSE: MXL) said that Netgear, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR) has selected the MxL267 Full-Spectrum Capture (FSCTM) digital cable front-end receiver for a new family of DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems and gateways. First in Netgear'S new cable gateway family, the CG4500TM, recently achieved certification from CableLabs. The CG4500TM is a high-speed gateway designed using the MxL267 24-channel DOCSIS 3.0 receiver.
