BRIEF: Learn about phones for hearing impaired


OREGON, Nov 19, 2012 (Daily Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Samantha Harazin of the Lee County Council on Aging in Dixon will explain the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corp. program at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27 during the Rock River Center's Triple Play Tuesday.



ITAC offers amplified phones for the hearing impaired that work with most hearing aids. ITAC also offers captioned and TTY phones.

Lunch of loaded baked potato soup and bread or sandwiches will be served at 11:30 a.m. Afterward, Harazin will test people for eligibility for a free phone and bingo will be played.


The event is at the center, 810 S. 10th St.
