For years, folks in IT have too often felt underserved; by technologies that don’t reliably meet their ever-evolving needs, especially.
Atera is on a mission to change that.
Atera’s IT management platform is powered by an end-to-end, first-to-market, deep integration with Microsoft (News - Alert) Azure OpenAI; according to the company, this “enables ten times the efficiency when resolving IT issues at scale” for enterprise IT teams and those they serve. That means IT pros can go from “problem encountered” to “solution implemented” ten times faster; this boosts IT teams’ abilities to continue ensuring all-around operational excellence, and to continue connecting customers to solutions that create the best-possible impacts for their businesses.
And now, as we inch closer towards 2025, Atera is bolstering its ranks even further. Here’s the scoop:
Today, Atera officially announced three new strategic leadership appointments: Noam Vander, Nir Elharar, and Emanuel Kanievsky.
- Noam Vander is joining Atera as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With 15+ years of cybersecurity experience (including his previous role as CISO at Fiverr), Noam will oversee all cybersecurity, privacy and risk management efforts at Atera, ensuring the company's products and infrastructure remain equal parts secure, available and reliable in today's dynamic IT environment.
- Nir Elharar is moving into the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Having served as VP of Marketing at Atera for the past two and a half years, Nir has played a crucial role in scaling the marketing department and leading creative campaigns (as well as the launch of Atera's AI Copilot). As CMO, he will reportedly continue to drive Atera's brand strategy and market positioning. (Notably, prior to Atera and after spending years at Google (News - Alert), Nir held leadership roles at Outbrain and Duda, as well.)
- Emanuel Kanievsky is transitioning into the role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) after serving as Global VP of Sales, where he built and scaled Atera's revenue engine. Emanuel brings extensive expertise in enterprise software, SaaS and strategic partnerships (honed through leadership roles at Microsoft, Sisense, and SysAid (News - Alert) Technologies, as well as the LinkedIn-acquired Oribi). He will now oversee Atera's revenue-driving teams, focusing on growth, customer acquisition, and the launch of the highly anticipated Autopilot as the company enters its next phase of expansion.
Together, these new members — alongside other Atera long-timers — aim to bring about impactful measures to the company ahead of the new year.
“We're entering 2025 with immense momentum, and these appointments reflect the incredible strength of our team and the culture we've built," expressed Gil Pekelman, Atera’s co-founder and CEO. "At Atera, we believe in empowering our people and giving them the opportunity to grow, succeed, and lead from within. Nir and Emanuel have been integral to our success, consistently demonstrating innovation, leadership, and a deep commitment to our customers and mission. With Noam's expertise joining the team, we are even better positioned to help IT teams and MSPs stay secure and compliant with a platform that follows the highest standards."
