NETGEAR Expands Wi-Fi 7 Lineup with Nighthawk M7 Pro Mobile Hotspot

By Stefania Viscusi September 19, 2024

NETGEAR recently expanded its lineup of high-performance Wi-Fi 7 devices with the launch of the Nighthawk M7 Pro Mobile Hotspot (MR7400), a portable solution designed for consumers and businesses.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SDX75 chipset and operating on AT&T’s (News - Alert) 5G network, the M7 Pro provides reliable, high-speed internet access anywhere, anytime, offering download speeds of up to 6 Gbps.

The device supports tri-band Wi-Fi 7 and dual-band concurrent operation, reaching aggregated Wi-Fi speeds of up to 5.8 Gbps. This is ideal for remote work, streaming, gaming, and more.

As remote work and mobile connectivity have become increasingly essential, the M7 Pro offers a portable Wi-Fi solution that ensures strong, secure connections on the go or at home. It accommodates up to 64 devices and features a built-in firewall for enhanced security, making it a better alternative to public Wi-Fi. The hotspot also allows for seamless 8K streaming, video conferencing, and gaming, while also serving as a failover connection for wired broadband in home setups.

For small businesses, remote offices, and mobile operations in industries like construction, healthcare, and hospitality, it also functions as a primary connection by integrating smoothly into existing networking infrastructures using NETGEAR's Insight Pro platform. This gives them centralized control over devices, monitoring signal strength, battery levels, and usage across multiple locations.

The Nighthawk M7 Pro features a removable 5040mAh battery for up to 10 hours of usage, a 2.8-inch touchscreen, and an array of external ports for added flexibility.

“We’re raising the bar once again by packing secure, cutting-edge performance, based on our decades of experience, into an elegant pocket-sized package with the M7 Pro,” said David Henry, president & GM of Connected Home Products and Services at NETGEAR. “We’re proud to partner once again with AT&T 5G to unveil another world’s first and deliver an unparalleled solution for anyone who needs blazing fast, reliable Wi-Fi anywhere they go.”
