ITEXPO Exhibitor Crexendo Goes Down Under: New Data Centers Boost Global Reach

By Greg Tavarez September 17, 2024

Businesses have often relied on separate systems for voice, video, messaging and contact centers. This fragmented approach cab lead to inefficiencies, increased costs, and overall difficulty in managing communication across different teams and locations.

Platforms such as Crexendo’s NetSapiens platform address these challenges by providing a unified platform that integrates all communication channels. This simplifies operations, improves collaboration potential, and enhances customer service capabilities. For example, businesses can now easily switch between voice calls, video conferences and instant messaging within a single application. Additionally, NetSapiens (News - Alert)' contact center features streamline customer interactions and provide valuable analytics for measuring performance. Learn more about Crexendo and the NetSapiens platform at ITEXPO (News - Alert) 2025, taking place February 11-13, 2025 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with Crexendo being an exhibitor.

Crexendo remains committed to delivering high-performance, reliable and secure cloud communication solutions to businesses worldwide.

Therefore, the company announced the expansion of its global network with the opening of new data centers in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. This strategic move aims to enhance service delivery and support for Crexendo's NetSapiens Platform partners in the region.

The new Australian data centers will reportedly provide local storage and processing for data generated by Crexendo’s NetSapiens Platform Partners. This will result in faster response times, reduced latency and improved overall user experience.

Additionally, the data centers will ensure compliance with Australian data privacy regulations, giving businesses in the region peace of mind regarding the security and protection of their sensitive information.

“The launch of our data centers in Sydney and Melbourne represents a significant milestone in Crexendo’s global strategy,” said Scott Goodwin (News - Alert), Senior Vice President of International Markets at Crexendo. “These locations were carefully selected to meet the growing demand in these regions, ensuring that our customers experience the lowest possible latency and the highest levels of service quality."

This strategic expansion builds on Crexendo’s recent partnership with Oracle (News - Alert) Cloud Infrastructure, which was announced in May 2024, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s rapid growth and international reach.

“Following our successful partnership with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, we are excited to extend our global footprint with these new data centers in Australia,” said Jeff Korn, CEO and chairman of Crexendo. “Our focus has always been on providing our customers with the best-in-class cloud communication solutions, and these data centers are a critical part of that strategy.”

The new data centers position Crexendo to accelerate its market share growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The also solidify the company’s status as a premier global provider of unified communications as a service.
