TelecomsXChange Sets Sights on Autonomous Telecom Future

By Stefania Viscusi August 22, 2024

TelecomsXChange (TCXC) announced it is working to develop a fully autonomous telecom wholesale platform that operates without human intervention. The start-up said this initiative aims to revolutionize the telecom industry by driving innovation and efficiency through automation.

From its inception, TCXC has envisioned a telecom platform that could function independently, but the journey required laying substantial groundwork.

Initially launched as a cloud marketplace for voice, SMS, and virtual numbers, the company pivoted in 2020 to focus exclusively on software, developing essential signaling and billing components to support its long-term vision.

Now, advancements in technology aligning with TCXC’s goals, means they are closer to achieving a fully autonomous platform. This platform is designed to offer better flexibility, capable of being deployed across any open or commercial cloud infrastructure, including OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, or even on-premises or hybrid environments. With this versatility communication service providers (CSPs) adapt the solution to their specific needs and local markets.

Service providers fully tailor the platform's stacks, features, and branding to reflect their unique identity and operational requirements.

As the telecom industry faces growing pressures to cut costs and enhance service delivery, TCXC's Autonomous Platform will offer increased efficiency, significant cost savings, and the ability to quickly adapt to market shifts.

"With all the necessary technological components now at our disposal, it's time to bring our vision to life," said Ameed Jamous, Founder of TelecomsXChange (TCXC). "Just as autonomous vehicles and aircraft have revolutionized their industries, it's time for the telecom wholesale sector to embrace automation. Let's empower machines to manage the complexities and free humans to focus on innovation."
