Syniverse Supports Multi-Language Customer Engagement with New Real-Time Text Translations

By Alex Passett August 22, 2024

It’s a fact; the world’s leading brands rely on best-in-class support, top-of-the-game global connectivity capabilities, and easy-to-use, purpose-built communications platforms that meet specific sets of business needs.

Let’s take organizations like Amazon, Mastercard, Meta, Marriott and American Airlines, for example. They each respectively took a whole stairway of logical steps, so to speak, on their journeys towards success.

And a big step taken by every one of them, as fate would have it, is them receiving top-notch care from Syniverse.

Known by many as “The World’s Most Connected Company,” Syniverse (News - Alert) — having been at the center of interconnectivity developments from 1G to modern 5G — helps businesses reach their customers anywhere through enriched global connections and multi-channel engagement solutions. With its future-proofed network architecture, Syniverse helps business leaders establish powerful security, reduce costs, and provide highly optimal end-user services. Consumer mobile marketing, IoT and emerging wireless innovations, and plenty of other confidence-boosting enterprise services; Syniverse tackles it all so customers feel heard and validated, their needs met via reliable connectivity solutions.

Today, let’s talk about yet another.

Syniverse recently unveiled its Real-Time Text Translations (RTT), enabling businesses to communicate seamlessly with customers in their preferred language, without a human translator needed.

Businesses can capture end-user language preferences instantaneously with RTT for SMS and MMS messages. It’s simple: RTT automatically detects when users reply to a message in a different language; once detected, texting continues in accordance with the model established by the sender. In this case, the sender (i.e. the business of whomever is reading this) chooses how to continue communicating — in the detected language using Syniverse’s aforementioned translation feature, in the detected language using the sender’s translation tool, or in the business’s preferred language. This level of personalization has been built out to enhance the customer experience via translation automation, ensuring critical messages are sent in the language appropriate for the reading party. (A deeper breakdown from Syniverse can be perused here.)

Overall, RTT supports more than 130 languages and multiple communication channels, which accommodates for considerable linguistic diversities and a variety of customer channels being utilized.

"Communicating with customers in their preferred language is a powerful way to demonstrate genuine care for their needs," stated John Wick (News - Alert), Syniverse's Chief Product Officer. "People feel valued, understood, and satisfied when their perspectives are considered. It's natural for Syniverse to provide a solution that brings everyone together by providing a personalized and engaging customer experience."
