Grandstream Introduces Wi-Fi 6 Cordless IP Phones

In a move to enhance connectivity and mobility for business and residential customers, Grandstream launched two new Wi-Fi 6 cordless IP phones, the WP816 and WP826. The new sleek, user-friendly devices integrate dual-band Wi-Fi 6 to provide robust network connections and advanced roaming capabilities, ensuring seamless communication.




New advanced features like push-to-talk functionality, HD voice with Noise Shield technology as well as integrated Bluetooth are included in the new devices.

Both models feature built-in accelerometers for safety and usage personalization, USB Type-C ports for fast charging, and comprehensive voice and data security protocols.

The WP816 and WP826 also utilize the Grandstream Device Management System (GDMS), a free cloud-based platform offering centralized, zero-touch provisioning and management, ensuring easy setup, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Dual-band 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with advanced roaming support
  • Configurable push-to-talk button for instant communication
  • Support for the OPUS codec, advanced acoustic echo cancellation, and Noise Shield technology
  • Integrated Bluetooth and an emergency button for enhanced functionality

  • Supports 2 lines and 2 SIP accounts
  • Features a 1.77-inch color LCD screen (128x160 resolution)
  • Equipped with a rechargeable 1500mAh battery, offering six hours of talk time and 120 hours of standby
  • Includes a configurable push-to-talk button, dual microphones, and Noise Shield technology for superior sound quality

WP826 Specifications:

  • Supports three lines and three SIP accounts
  • Boasts a 2.4-inch color LCD screen (240x320 resolution)
  • Powered by a rechargeable 3000mAh battery, providing 12 hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby
  • Supports four-way voice conferencing, dual microphones, and Noise Shield technology
