Iristel has announced it now joins the exclusive ranks of telecommunications providers offering Operator Connect for Microsoft (News - Alert) Teams Phone.

The Canadian telecommunications service provider is set to roll out Operator Connect across Canada, the U.S., and select locations in Europe and Africa. It caters to diverse organizations that are seeking to expand their Microsoft Teams deployments to include Teams Phone (News - Alert) functionality.

The company’s focus is on meeting the needs of companies that are striving to optimize the productivity of their remote or hybrid workforce. This latest move will also see the introduction of Operator Connect in Kenya, delivering cutting-edge communication solutions on a global scale.

Operator Connect is tailored for organizations that are transitioning from traditional office phone systems to the modern, cloud-based Teams Phone. In addition to Operator Connect, Iristel offers Managed Calling for Microsoft Teams Phone, a fully managed, deep calling integration. It leverages an intuitive self-serve portal powered by Ribbon Connect for Operator Connect and enables administrators to effortlessly make day-to-day changes, such as onboarding new users.

"We are thrilled to introduce Operator Connect to our esteemed Microsoft Teams customers in Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Africa," said Samer Bishay, Founder and CEO at Iristel. "This is a significant leap forward in our mission to provide innovative and user-friendly communication solutions that cater to the evolving needs of businesses worldwide.
