Promotions Support Telesystem Channel Partner Expansion

By Greg Tavarez January 30, 2023

Provider of nationwide managed technology solutions, Telesystem, empowers businesses with innovative network, communication and security solutions designed to address their specific requirements for performance, security and cost.

Telesystem’s core go-to-market strategy revolves around building technology solutions for SME organizations that value a trusted layer of expertise combined with a managed experience that allows them to focus on their own business rather than vendor management. New business opportunities are driven through the technology brokerage channel, with a growing number of opportunities coming from cybersecurity education presentations.

To support its channel program expansion, two roles are filled within Telesystem. Brian Buchman is promoted to senior manager, channel sales. Ryan Tims is promoted to manager, channel sales – west.

Buchman, who joined the Telesystem team in 2014 as an account executive and became a national channel manager in 2019, is now in charge of the Telesystem channel sales team nationwide. Buchman and his team focus on overall program management, partner development, market and vertical specific campaigns, and tools that assist partner sales enablement. These programs help partners and end users achieve greater business success with Telesystem’s product portfolio.

"Having been a member of the Telesystem team for eight years, I have witnessed the company's amazing growth,” said Buchman. “I look forward to a successful 2023 with the team we have assembled across the country, including the brokers and partners that contribute to our success.”

Tims joined the Telesystem team in 2018 as a sales engineer and demonstrated the ability to drive revenue development through partner sales enablement, giving enhanced value to Telesystem.

Tims is now responsible for the development and success of Telesystem’s team of regional channel managers in the mountain and pacific time zones. Regional channel managers are responsible for assisting selling partners with sales efforts in a defined geographic territory.

"Beginning as a sales engineer allowed me to understand the in-depth value of our products and services, and I've always enjoyed collaborating with our team of Regional Channel Managers," said Tims. "Telesystem has the people and solutions it needs to continue becoming a household name for business technology solutions, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of Telesystem’s continued growth and success."

Buchman and Tims, in their new positions, are steps in the direction of expansion and continued success for Telesystem.

Telesystem is a silver sponsor at ITEXPO in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Feb. 14-17, 2023. #TECHSUPERSHOW includes nearly a dozen collocated business technology events that bring buyers, users, sellers and partners together under one roof to educate and build business relationships around the technologies driving business success today. Telesystem will be in Booth #915.
