Procede Software Announces Strategic Acquisition of RIMSS, Bringing Together Decades of Dealer Technology LeadershipTwo DMS providers built on shared, customer-centered values coming together to accelerate innovation in the truck and equipment dealer markets SAN DIEGO, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Procede Software, a preeminent provider of enterprise-level dealer management systems (DMS) and solutions for the commercial vehicle industry, today announced that it has acquired RIMSS (Responsive Information Management Systems and Services, Inc.), a San Antonio-based DMS provider serving agriculture, construction, and transportation dealers.
Founded in 1983, RIMSS supports over 200 dealer groups across North America, working with OEMs including Kubota, Case IH, AGCO, and Hino, among others. Procede, celebrating 25 years in business, serves more than 1,200 rooftops and 25,000 daily users across the truck, trailer, bus, and aftermarket industries with its Excede® platform. "Respect is earned over decades by people who care deeply about their customers, their products, and each other," said Larry Kettler, CEO & Chairman of Procede Software. "RIMSS has earned it. Tommy, Dale, and their team share our values, our commitment to dealers and OEMs, and a belief that people make the difference. This acquisition builds on that foundation and creates more opportunities for our customers, our people, and the industries we serve. I'm excited about what we'll accomplish together." Two Companies Built the Same Way "After more than 40 years, we weren't looking for someone to take over what we built," said Tommy Jarrett, CEO of RIMSS. "We were looking for a partner who would invest in our people and products without changing the core values our customers count on. Procede has gron its business the same way we've grown ours, by staying close to dealers and putting money back into the product year after year." Built to Serve Dealer Groups That Run Both The acquisition follows Rubicon Technology Partners' January 2026 investment in Procede. ""When Rubicon invested earlier this year, Procede committed to reinvesting in our people, our technology, and the industry. We've delivered on that. This year we've moved faster than ever, adding outstanding new talent and accelerating innovation across our entire portfolio," said Kettler. "RIMSS is the next step on that journey, and we're excited to build on our shared core values while bringing industry-leading software and services to even more dealers." What Stays the Same Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. About Procede Software About RIMSS Media Contact: Jen York, Procede Software, [email protected]
