Finding a competitive pickleball game just got easier as Life Time and DUPR expand strategic alliance to help members track progress, find better competition and improve their game

CHANHASSEN, Minn., Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Life Time (NYSE: LTH), the nation's premier healthy lifestyle brand and one of North America's largest providers of pickleball, is expanding its strategic alliance with Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR), the world's most widely adopted pickleball rating system, to deliver an enhanced playing experience for members. Through the Life Time app, members are now able to connect their pickleball DUPR ratings, making it easier to measure progress and find the best competition at their club. Life Time also introduced nationwide DUPR-based programming, including rating-gated leagues, open play and other competitive opportunities to connect players of similar skill levels. The rollout began this summer at select clubs and is now complete across Life Time's network of pickleball courts nationwide.

DUPR is a rating system from 2.000 to 8.000 that groups players by ability using match results, coach input, and video and artificial intelligence analysis, so games stay balanced and competitive.

Members can link their Life Time member ID to their DUPR account directly in the app, then see their rating alongside the tools they already use to book courts, removing the guesswork from setting up an even game. Clubs can offer DUPR-gated Open Play for members with linked accounts, as well as leveled and all-level Open Play for members without a rating, and Life Time Pickleball Pros remain the primary resource for DUR questions and guidance. Players can track their progress over time as their rating updates.

DUPR serves as the official rating system of Major League Pickleball (MLP), the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) and is used by millions of players worldwide.
