Harbor Capital Advisors Expands ETF Lineup with the Harbor Short Term Treasury ETF (HBIL)Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. ("Harbor"), an asset manager that curates a suite of actively managed ETFs, mutual funds, and collective investment trusts, recently launched the Harbor Short Term Treasury ETF (Ticker: HBIL), an actively managed short-term Treasury strategy designed to provide exposure before fees and expenses generally consistent with the price and yield performance of the 3-month U.S. Treasury bill market. HBIL is designed to serve as a practical portfolio implementation tool, helping advisors to efficiently manage cash balances, liquidity reserves, portfolio transitions, and short-term allocations through the convenience, transparency, and flexibility of an ETF.
Why HBIL?
Advisors frequently manage temporary cash balances resulting from client inflows, portfolio reallocations, defensive positioning, or liquidity needs. Many existing solutions require tradeoffs among liquidity, operational simplicity, ETF integration, and portfolio flexibility. HBIL seeks to simplify those decisions by providing short-term U.S. Treasury bill exposure within an actively managed ETF structure designed to fit seamlessly into modern portfolio construction workflows. Gleich added, "Today's advisors need implementation tools that are as thoughtful as their investment strategies. Whether serving as a cash management sleeve, a transition vehicle, or a liquidity reserve, HBI is built to help support efficient portfolio implementation without adding unnecessary complexity."
