Learning design and accessibility leader ansrsource today announced a pilot program to make accessibility the default within LMS platforms - bridging the gap for higher education institutions and K-12 districts struggling to meet evolving accessibility requirements.

ansrAccess provides:

  1. Real-Time WCAG 2.2 Scanning and Health Scoring: Automatically scans every page, file, and media item against curent WCAG standards as content is published or updated. Issues are classified by severity - critical, high, medium, low - so teams know where to focus first.
  2. AutoFix and Contextual Accessibility Guidance: Applies rules-based corrections for common structural issues, with every fix routed to the instructor for review before it goes live. Each issue includes a plain-language explanation, the WCAG criterion it violates, and a clear fix recommendation.
  3. Accessible Alternative Formats: Students select their preferred format, and accessible versions are generated on demand through tagged PDFs, HTML, EPUB, MP3 audio, and other supported formats without the need for manual accommodation requests.
  4. Expert Escalation: Content requiring contextual judgment can be escalated to an accessibility remediation team and returned fully validated.
  5. Accessibility Dashboard and Compliance Reporting: Institution-wide visibility of accessibility performance across every course, department, and campus. Downloadable audit logs for governance reviews, audit preparation, and legal due diligence.
  6. Accessibility Training: Role-specific training built for every team that touches digital content, including leaders, faculty, UX designers and developers, and teams responsible for verification and reporting.

The pilot gives participating institutions a structured, low-friction way to see the model work inside their own courses. Over 90 days, teams get a full scan and baseline across an active subaccount, guided fixes and AutoFix running on real content, and access to expert remediation for the issues that need a human eye, all without a new platform or a new login for faculty to learn. ansrsource is prioritizing a small cohort of early partners for this launch.
