O2 Investment Partners Announces Appointment of Micah Dawson as Operating Partner


O2 Investment Partners (www.o2investment.com) announced today the appointment of Micah Dawson as Operating Partner. Luke Plumpton announced the addition saying, "Micah brings the kind of value creation mindset and operating depth that we believe helps companies reach their full potential. His experience building portfolio support capabilities, executing strategic initiatives, and leading operational improvement efforts firsthand will make him a tremendous resource to our portfolio companies and investment team."

In this role, Micah will focus on driving value across O2's portfolio of companies.

Prior to joining O2, Micah served as head of the Portfolio Support Groupat Trivest Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm focused on founder- and family-owned businesses. At Trivest he contributed significantly to direct EBITDA impact and indirect value creation across the portfolio. Before Trivest, he spent two years at HBM Holdings focused on M&A before deploying directly into Tru-Flex, an HBM portfolio company. At Tru-Flex he held progressively senior operating roles culminating in responsibility for two of the company's divisions. He holds a JD/MBA from the University of Virginia and a B.Arch from the University of Miami.
