The FE990D series comes in an LGA module, while the FN990D series is available in an M.2 form factor. The FE990D and FN990D are both powered by the Qualcomm X85/82 5G Modem-RF, which features the Qualcomm® AI Stack and offers easy access to AI models via the Qualcomm® AI Hub. With Qualcomm AI Hub, customers can convert trained models, such as those from PyTorch and ONNX, to inference on the device. They can also profile these models on the device to obtain detailed metrics and verify numerical correctness by running on-device inference.

Built for next-generation connectivity, both the FE990D and FN990D support 3GPP Release 18, ensuring superior performance, reliability, and longevity across enterprise and industrial applications. Key use cases include:
