State of the Edge and Edge Computing World Announce Farah Papaioannou as Winner of the Edge Woman of the Year Award 2019


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Edge computing leaders from State of the Edge and Edge Computing World name Farah Papaioannou, Co-Founder and President of Edgeworx, Inc the winner of the First Annual Edge Woman of the Year Award 2019. The Edge Woman of the Year 2019 award recognizes Papaioannou for her outstanding impact on the edge computing industry and her multidimensional leadership in the technology industry including venture capital, edge cloud computing, and open source projects. Selected by a panel of industry judges, Farah Papaioannou exemplifies overall exceptional leadership in edge computing and was presented with a trophy at the Edge Computing World on December 11, 2019, hosted in Silicon Valley.

Papaioannou is one of ten women recognized by the edge computing organizations for their leadership efforts. Under her leadership, Edgeworx has become widely recognized as one of the leaders in the Edge Cloud Computing category, having also been recognized as a finalist for the Leading Lights Award for the Most Innovative Edge Computing Strategy.
