Morphisec Announces Strategic MSSP Partnership with SECOM Singapore

Morphisec, the global leader in Moving Target (News - Alert) Defense, today announced a partnership with SECOM Singapore to support its growing worldwide demand for its advanced prevention defense technology. Morphisec will deliver a critical layer of protection against fileless attacks and other advanced threats to SECOM customers through its managed security services offering 'EMS: Powered by Morphisec.'

Morphisec's innovative Moving Target Defense technology quickly, simply and deterministically prevents advanced threats like APTs, zero-days, ransomware, evasive fileless attacks, supply chain hacks and web-borne exploits. Morphisec's technology maps directly to the 'Six Binding Cybersecurity Rules for Financial Institutions,' recently announced by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) including: 'addressing system security flaws in a timely manner;' and 'establishing and implementing robust security for systems.'

"We are excited to be working with SECOM to help customers across the APAC region tackle the growing problem of advanced attacks that can bypass most security solutions," says Ronen Yehoshua, CEO, Morphisec. "Our partnership took root shortly after Morphisec stopped the CCleaner supply chain attack at a customer production pilot in Singapore last year. As was widely reported, Morphisec was the only product to prevent and expose the widespread supply chain attack, protecting the customer and, ultimately, millions of Avast users. This was a direct result of Morphisec's revolutionary Moving Target Defense approach to defeating advanced attacks, and SECOM's customers will benefit as this new service is rolled out."

SECOM Singapore, a leading security managed service provider in Singapore as been active in homeland security and critical information infrastructure markets. SECOM Singapore will offer MSS to its enterprise customers. MSS market is on a steady, strong growth trajectory, driven by a mix of established and emerging providers. It grew 9.5% in 2017, reaching $10.3 billion in revenue.1

"Our partnership with Morphisec strengthens our security portfolio and makes sure that we can provide the most innovative technology to address the latest threat trends and security risks affecting our customers," said Kenji Ishida, CEO of SECOM Singapore.

"We are extremely pleased to add SECOM as our MSSP in Singapore," says Omri Dotan, Chief Business Officer. "Morphisec's unique proactive prevention model with its focus on business value, and our successes in preventing a slew of advance attacks such as Wannacry, Petya, FIN7 and RIG, has spiked interest globally. Our partnership with SECOM ensures we can support our customers in the region."

Morphisec delivers operational and business benefits that extend beyond endpoint security including continuity across application and OS patch cycles, update-free operation, with minimal false positives, and zero performance degradation.

In June, Morphisec announced that it protects over one million endpoints globally, and will double in less than two months from now.

SECOM will be unveiling this new service at the GovWare Conference, September 18-20 in Singapore.
