MWEB chooses ZyXEL's Wi-Fi extender [TeleGeography CommsUpdate](TeleGeography CommsUpdate Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) South African internet service provider (ISP) MWEB has contracted vendor ZyXEL to supply its WRE2205 Wi-Fi range extender, which will increase MWEB's indoor Wi-Fi coverage. According to a joint press release, the WRE2205 comes with remote management functionality, which allows convenient remote set-up and configuration or easy firmware updates at a later stage, while dual Service Set Identifiers (SSIDs) support allows for the integration of third party Wi-Fi services from any MWEB access point.
