Google acquires Bot Square (Flutter)Oct 07, 2013 (MarketLine Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Google, Inc., an Internet technology and advertising company, has acquired Bot Square, Inc. (Flutter), a provider of Flutter application that controls music and video applications using gestures through webcam, for approximately $40 million. Both the companies are based in the US. Earlier in 2012, Flutter had raised seed funding from Y Combinator, Andreessen Horowitz, New Enterprise Associates, Inc., Spring Ventures, LLC, Start Fund and from individual angel investors.
