Nov 05, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Red Bend Software, a provider of mobile software management, announced the availability of a new IDC White Paper, sponsored by Red Bend.

In a release, the Company noted that the paper is titled Mobile Virtualization: Accelerating Innovation in Next-Generation Services. It predicts an opportunity for the use of virtualization technology in the next generation of mobile phones and connected devices.

The paper was published in September 2012.

According to the paper, virtualization technology will go beyond smartphones and tablets, becoming the core technology to enable the Internet of things, including the growing number of wirelessly connected devices, sensors and machines.

The report analyzes how the mobile industry must move aggressively to leverage Type-1 mobile hypervisors to take advantage of new market opportunities, including: -Enterprise: Bring Your Own Device -Automotive Industry: Faster Time to Market -Manufacturing: Extending Investment in Software -Consumers: Securing the Digital Life ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected]))
