Priceline Leverages Skyhook Technology To Enable Location On Kindle Fire App

Skyhook, the world leader in location information, context and intelligence, today announced the Priceline Hotel Negotiator app has integrated Skyhook, providing location services for the first time on this device. Priceline joins a host of other apps using Skyhook for location services on the Kindle Fire, including MapQuest, KAYAK, deCarta (News - Alert) and TweetCaster.

Priceline Hotel Negotiator helps travelers quickly find and book last-minute hotel rooms at up-to-the-minute current published prices. Or, for deeper discounts of up to 60%, they can bid on hotel rooms using priceline.com's Name Your Own Price® hotel service. Hotel rooms can be booked up until 11:00 p.m. ET on the night the room is needed. To get the free app, launch the market on any Android (News - Alert) device and search for "priceline."
