The SpeedUp® Pad Ice, introduced by MLW Telecom, is the first Android 4.0 tablet in Indonesia, and features broadband service from Telkom Indonesia. MIPS Technologies will show the tablet during Mobile World Congress, being held February 27 - March 1, 2012 in Barcelona, Spain. The SpeedUp® Pad Ice will be available starting this week in a broad range of retail shops and tradeshows across Indonesia. It will be available for the promotional price of Rp. 299,000 (approximately US$33) with a six-month contract of broadband services, which includes free hot spot connectivity at more than 3,000 locations in Indonesia. In addition, Gameloft's cutting-edge video game Spider-Man: Total Mayhem will be embedded on the devices.
