[January 13, 2012] tw telecom awarded IDIQ contract from GSA for Region 9 Tweet Jan 13, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- tw telecom (Nasdaq:TWTC), a provider of managed services, announced on Thursday that it has been awarded a contract from the US General Services Administration (GSA) for advanced voice, data and Internet services in Region 9 (California). The contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract (IDIQ) for multiple services. Under the terms of the multi-year contract, financial details of which were not available, tw telecom will provide Federal Agencies within the GSA's Region 9 (California) with digital voice/voice-over-IP services; a fully managed, E-Line Ethernet WAN service; an Extended Native LAN (ENLAN) service and Private Network Transport (PNT) services. The contract extends through to March 2014 and also includes provisions for two one-year renewal options. Agencies have the choice of ordering services through the GSA or they can choose the direct order/direct bill method.
