American Friends of Rabin Medical Center Host 13th Annual Gala to Benefit New 54,000 Square Foot Emergency and Trauma Center in Israel


NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--

On November 13, 2011, the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center are hosting their annual black tie gala event, this year culminating in a display of "The Best of New York Meets the Best of Israel" at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Over 700 people will be in attendance, including diplomats, civic, business, medical and philanthropic leaders of their respective industries.

This special evening will honor both Eli Hurvitz and Teva Pharmaceuticals, focusing on the demonstrated global leadership of each. Mr. Hurvitz provided 57 years of visionary leadership to Teva, serving as Chairman of the Board as well as providing 25 years of service as Teva's President and CEO. During this time, Teva became the largest pharmaceutical company in Israel and a global leader in pharmaceuticals.

On this exciting night, Master of Ceremonies, Charlie Rose, will interview Mortimer B. Zuckerman, Chairman of Boston Properties, Publisher of New York Daily News and Editor-in-Chief of US News & World Report. The dinner menu will feature mouth-watering dishes from Guest Chefs, Todd English and Anthony Susi, while the audience enjoys a Broadway performance and entertainment by the Steve Ash Jazz Ensemble. /p>
