Netflix announces launch across Latin America and the CaribbeanSep 05, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Netflix Inc (Nasdaq:NFLX), an Internet subscription service for movies and TV shows, is rolling out across Latin America and the Caribbean, the company announced today. The Portuguese-language version of the service was launched today in Brazil and Netflix is expected to be available in 43 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean by 12 September. Monthly subscriptions in Brazil will cost BRL14.99 and a free one-month trial is available via http://www.netflix.com.
