The AEP Awards honor high-quality resources for teaching and learning, and their seal of excellence is widely recognized by educators, administrators and parents as a mark of outstanding educational value.

The DAAs are judged according to category and subject area, and entries are evaluated on traits such as efficacy, usability and overall educational value.

Launched in June 2011 at ISTE, Sokikom's math social learning game has already been awarded a Best Educational Software Award (BESSIE) from ComputED Gazette and has been named to Dr. Toy's list of Best Vacation Children's Products. In addition, the company was named one of the Best Educational Gaming and Adaptive Learning Companies at the National Education Innovation Summit, one of 2011's Most Innovative Internet/Social Networking companies by TiE50 and earned a 2011 Success Award from the Arizona Small Business Development Network for contributions to the Arizona economy.
