NDS partners with ARM to enable delivery of OTT content and services
Jan 07, 2011 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- NDS, a provider of technology solutions, has entered into a partnership with ARM, a provider of semiconductor intellectual property services, to enable OTT delivery services on connected TVs.
The cooperation will enable connected TV manufacturers to implement a ready-made software solution that will provide a framework for OTT services, easily integrated with a variety of devices.
Jonathan Beavon, Director of Segment Marketing at NDS, said: "Infinite TV provides an end-to-end delivery mechanism for OTT services on connected devices. With a thin-client approach, the possibilities for manufacturers are taken to a new level; easy integration and a sophisticated architecture will ensure an optimal service with a short time to market." He added "With ARM we believe we are in a strong position to deliver new opportunities for OTT and connected TV services." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
