TMCnet News

TMC (News - Alert) announced that ITEXPO West 2010 in Los Angeles broke every previous attendance record for the West Coast version of ITEXPO (News - Alert). More than 215 exhibiting companies, 366 speakers, 5,800 conference and expo attendees, and almost 100 members of the media participated in the event at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

ITEXPO West featured 12 collocated conferences. Cornerstones of the program, such as 4GWE; Smart Grid Summit; M2M Evolution; Cloud Communications Summit; SIP Tutorial; and StartupCamp, continued to increase in attendance. New events at ITEXPO, such as: MSPAlliance MSPWorld; Voice Interconnect and Peering Conference (VIPeering); CVx ChannelVision Expo; SocialCRM Expo; App Time; and Lightwave ONE attracted new audiences and added value to the overall program.

Vendor participation for ITEXPO West increased almost 50 percent, and 216 exhibitors issued almost 400 news announcements from the show floor, detailing new products, services and alliances that were announced at ITEXPO.

"We're thrilled with the continued growth of ITEXPO, and we feel as though this year's event set a new standard with respect to content, education, and networking opportunities for all in attendance," said Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO and group editor-in-chief of TMC. "We'll continue to expand ITEXPO with new and relevant content areas that interest our community, and we're looking forward to bringing things to an even higher level this coming February in Miami."

ITEXPO East will take place Feb. 2 to 4, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Event information, including registration (attendee, exhibitor and speaker), and speaker Call for Papers is now available on the ITEXPO website. Hotel accommodations for ITEXPO East 2011 are expected to fill up quickly, as all reserved hotel blocks sold out prior to the Los Angeles event.
