'SURFnet realises 100 Gb ethernet connection'Jun 21, 2010 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Dutch education networks SURFnet claims it is the first organization in the EMEA to successfully realise a 100 Gigabit Ethernet connection on the Juniper Networks T Series Core Routers in Amsterdam. SURFnet used Juniper's latest system and the services of network and storage integrator Telindus ISIT. SURFnet said the trial shows it is ready for future internet traffic growth to its backbone.
