ESI’s Announces Communications Server Family

Introducing the all IP or all digital ESI-100, ESI-200, and ESI-1000

PLANO, TEXAS; MARCH 28, 2007 — Estech Systems Incorporated (ESI), an industry leading manufacturer of digital and IP-based telephone systems, announced important changes to its product line, including a new family of communications server products designed to offer customers an expanded choice of system platforms. Also announced today is an array of product enhancements designed to provide additional flexibility to ESI’s unique Visually Integrated Phone (VIP) suite.

“We’ve raised the bar again,” said Doug Boyd, ESI’s President and Chief Operating Officer. “The ESI Communications Server family is the latest evolution in our 20-year history of developing innovative products that are powerful, flexible, easy-to-use and cost-effective. This introduction allows customers, big and small, to choose when and just how much IP technology is right for them.”

Each member of the ESI Communications Server family uses both digital communications and Internet protocol (IP) technologies, so customers can choose the mix they need to efficiently run their business. All ESI Communications Servers have built-in voice mail, auto attendant, automatic call distribution (ACD), flexible numbering, and shared-office tenanting. Each system can support ESI’s presence management solution and the full complement of IP capabilities such as Esi-Link remote networking and SIP phones. All systems also support ESI’s suite of visually integrated phone (VIP) software applications including VIP Professional, VIP PC Attendant Console, VIP Softphone, and VIP ACD.

In a recent a product rollout meeting with ESI Resellers, ESI announced:

• ESI-100 Communications Server — The smallest member of the family, this compact system comes with an 8-port/140-hour voice mail and supports up to 84 digital and/or IP stations, and T1/PRI. It’s perfect for a single-site business or one of up to 100 sites in an Esi-Link network.

• ESI-200 Communications Server — Customers needing a small and powerful phone system with all the capabilities of a larger organization can’t miss with the ESI-200. Targeted at small to medium businesses with a total combination of 190 digital and/or IP stations, this system has two standard voice mail configurations: 16-port/140-hour and a 24-port/600-hour.

• ESI-600 Communications Server — Now a member of the new family, the ESI-600 remains a top choice for large offices and multi-site customers. Supporting up to 408 digital and/or IP stations, the ESI-600 comes with a 32 port/1,200 hour voicemail.
