(SinoCast Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) BEIJING, Jun 28, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) --The latest survey carried out by Analysys International showed that China Internet search engine sector achieved a total income of CNY 303 million in the first quarter this year.

The market shares of Baidu and Google respectively are 43.9% and 13.2%, with Yahoo ranks second in search industry with 21.1% market shares.

Another consultancy company CCID Consulting makes objection for this ranking, but holds pessimistic attitude for Google??s recent performance in China.

Yahoo! China rises significantly in the search ranking issued by Analysys International by the absolute advantage of address field, and it plans to launch new search technology in September, which is not good news for Google China that is fed up with public relation crisis.

The investigation also showed that the market scale of China search engine in the first quarter this year was CNY 303 million, of which 91.42% income brought by search engine gateways, and the income of the search engine channels reached CNY 135 million.
