Performance Technologies to Speak at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO Fall 2005

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – October 17, 2005 - Performance Technologies (Nasdaq NM: PTIX), a leading developer of integrated systems, platforms, components and software, today announced that both John Grana, vice president of software engineering and Bob Ehlers, director of business development, will be speaking at this year’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO Fall 2005 on October 24 and 25 in Los Angeles.

John Grana will participate in the “Linux as an Embedded Operating System and Development Environment” session on Monday, October 24 at 4:00 p.m. The session will discuss the advantages of using Linux when developing embedded systems.

Bob Ehlers will join the panel discussion about “Advances in Development Platforms” on Tuesday, October 26 at 11:15 a.m. This session will feature conversations about powerful, standards-based computing solutions, hot swap, and high availability capabilities for communications applications and how these relate to development plans.
