COMTek and City of Manassas officials will hold a joint news event at 10:30 a.m. ET on October 5, 2005 to announce the achievement of the major national technology milestone in broadband access. Both the White House and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have highlighted BPL technology as an important way to get broadband access to underserved portions of the nation.
