DRD Communications Deploys Kagoor's Session Border Controllers To Deliver Hosted VoIP Kagoor Networks, a leading provider of session border control solutions, announced that DRD Communications plc, a premier business communications solution provider within the Greater London area, has chosen Kagoor's VoiceFlow remote Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal application to enable hosted VoIP services. DRD is the second announced European customer for Kagoor, which recently opened its European headquarters.DRD Communications joins numerous carriers and service providers using Kagoor's industry leading VoiceFlow solution to enable VoIP calls to securely cross NAT-enabled firewalls. NAT Traversal is becoming one of the key session border controller applications being implemented by carriers. Without effective NAT traversal, firewalls block incoming VoIP calls. Utilizing their knowledge and experience of the voice market DRD are planning to offer a Hosted VoIP service. The new product will initially be targeted at the Residential, SME and Enterprise markets in London and the Southeast UK. It is expected that this coverage will soon broaden to cover the UK and International sites, and take on multi-site solutions.
