Nexcom Bulgaria EAD granted a fixed telecom operator license

Sofia, Bulgaria. Nexcom Bulgaria AD today announced that it has been granted a 20-year license for building, maintaining and utilizing fixed telecom networks on the territory of Bulgaria. The license was granted by the Communications Regulatory Commission of Bulgaria and is valid until the year 2023.

Nexcom Bulgaria AD, a wholly-owned subsidiary of U.S. telecommunications company Nexcom Telecommunications, LLC, is the leading alternative telecom provider in Bulgaria. Founded in 1998, Nexcom currently controls 65% of the market for alternative telecom services in Bulgaria. Utilizing a VOIP-based network with points of presence in 22 Bulgarian cities, Nexcom provides local, domestic, fixed-to-mobile and international origination services to its established base of primarily corporate customers in Bulgaria.
