WellSky® Human & Social Services Advisory Board Welcomes New Members to Expand Insights Into Future Industry Needs

WellSky, a global health and community care technology company, today announced the addition of three industry experts to the WellSky Human & Social Services Advisory Board: Janet LaBreck, former Commissioner of the Rehabilitation Services Administration; Kathy Greenlee, former Assistant Secretary of Aging and Administrator for the Department of Community Living for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS); and Richard Dorman, Deloitte (News - Alert) Consulting's first Public Sector Senior Technology Partner.

The Human & Social Services Advisory Board provides WellSky with industry insight, counsel, and guidance to ensure the needs of its clients are met. This demand is growing as WellSky clients across the care continuum further rely on partnerships with social services providers for whole-person care. Current topics under discussion include data, analytics, equity, and collaboration between social services and healthcare.

"We are thrilled to have such a strong and diverse advisory board to guide us as we continue to innovate," said Steve Greenberg, Senior Vice President, WellSky Human & Social Services. "Their deep expertise in the areas of aging, disability, homelessness, data, and policy will drive us to build and evolve solutions that help our clients, and their consumers, achieve more."

In 2013, LaBreck was nominated by President Barack Obama and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the Commissioner of the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA (News - Alert)). Under her leadership, LaBreck promulgated the most substantive national policy regulation changes to the Vocational Rehabilitation program in over 15 years. In 2007, LaBreck was appointed to serve as Commissioner of the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB) by former governor Duval Patrick until her transition to Washington, D.C. She is also th recipient of numerous awards and honors, including an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Optometry from New England College of Optometry (NECO). Most recently, she established Janet L. LaBreck Consulting LLC and is the Co-Founder of Synergy (News - Alert) Consulting Partners.

Greenlee has 25 years of public service experience, with expertise in aging, long-term care, disability, elder rights, healthcare, community services, rural aging, and LGBT health. She held the position of U.S. Assistant Secretary in the Obama Administration for seven years, during which time she established the Administration for Community Living. She chaired the Elder Justice Coordinating Council, created a federal home for state adult protective services programs, and created the National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS). Greenlee also co-chaired the HHS LGBT Issues Coordinating Committee. In addition to her federal experience, Greenlee spent 18 years in the Kansas state government in high-level positions, including the Secretary of Aging for former governor Kathleen Sebelius.

A national leader in the management consulting profession, Dorman's career with Deloitte Consulting included leading 28 large information technology engagements across 17 states - all with successful implementations. His client-facing career focused on health and human services work including public assistance eligibility, child welfare, adult protective services, and Medicaid. Since his retirement in 2018, Dorman consulted for Deloitte to oversee the implementation of three large HHS technology projects. Dorman currently serves as Advisory Board member at ProspHire LLC, a fast-growing healthcare strategy and operations consultancy.
