Rockpoint Expands Industrial Platform with Acquisition of Springs Business ParkInstitutional-Quality Light Industrial Campus in Charlotte Area Expands Firm's Presence in Leading Southeast Logistics and Business Markets BOSTON and CONCORD, N.C., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockpoint, a Boston-based real estate private equity firm, and Rockpoint Industrial, an operating partner exclusive to Rockpoint, today announced the acquisition of Springs Business Park, a 119,700-square-foot, four-building industrial park in Concord, North Carolina. Rockhill, Rockpoint's property services affiliate, will manage and operate the property. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Springs Business Park's fully leased buildings range from 23,000 to 46,800 square feet and house 15 tenants. The four buildings span two sites in Charlotte's Cabarrus County submarket totaling 11 acres and separated by a public right-of-way. The site is located 1.6 miles from I-85, five miles from the I-85 and I-485 interchange, and a 30-minute drive to Uptown Charlotte, providing access to the top 25 U.S. metropolitan market with 2.9 million residents. Developed in two phases from 2022 to 2024, the property consists of purpose-built shallow-bay light industrial buildings. The buildings feature a mix of depths, clear heights, and loading access, including both drive-in and dock-high loading, offering the flexibility to serve a wide variety of tenants and configurations.
