Pine River Hires Former Millennium and Garda Portfolio Manager Matthew Abroe to Oversee Inflation StrategiesPine River Capital Management L.P. In his new role, Abroe will be responsible for overseeing all inflation strategies at Pine River. Prior to his ime with Millennium, Abroe worked for Garda Capital Partners - formerly Black River Asset Management - for 14 years, ten of which he spent as the firm's lead Portfolio Manager for inflation-linked products. Abroe holds a B.S. in Physics from Loyola University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Minnesota.
