Federman & Sherwood investigates Sibanye-Stillwater for data breach. On September 14, 2024, Sibanye-Stillwater filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General's Office of Maine. Around July 8, 2024, Sibanye-Stillwater discovered unauthorized access to their IT network and immediately launched an investigation. Sibanye-Stillwater still has an ongoing investigation into the incident but determined the unauthorized access occurred mid-June 2024 and nvolved access to certain individuals personal and sensitive information. Sibanye-Stillwater is a multinational mining and metals processing group
