Brightcove Hires New CFO, Prepares For IPO (ORCL)


Oct 18, 2010 (SmarTrend News Watch via COMTEX) -- Brightcove prepares for an IPO by hiring a new CFO, Christopher Menard, who was previously the CFO of Phase Forward, a company that Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) bought last April, according to a TechCrunch report.



Brightcove stressed that Menard "played an integral role in the execution and integration of six acquisitions, successful execution of the IPO and secondary stock offering, and implementation of global financial systems." Oracle Corporation supplies software for enterprise information management. The Company offers databases and relational servers, application development and decision support tools, and enterprise business applications. Oracle's software runs on network computers, personal digital assistants, set-top devices, PCs, workstations, minicomputers, mainframes, and massively parallel computers.
