[January 05, 2010] BRIEF: New Ranch House family restaurant set to open Tweet Jan 05, 2010 (The Honolulu Advertiser - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- A new version of The Ranch House, formerly in Aina Haina, is opening on Kapahulu Avenue, Restaurants Hawaii LLC announced today. A grand opening will be held on Feb. 15 at 449 Kapahulu Ave. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Hee Hing Plaza. A soft opening will take place Jan. 27. A news release from Restaurants Hawaii LLC said it will be a local family style restaurant with prime rib, local favorites and an affordable menu. Among the dishes: "Huli Huli" style chicken, Tutu's meat loaf, oxtail soup, fresh fish, chopped salads and pork chops. A keiki menu will also be available. The Spencecliff Corporation, owners of the original Ranch House in Aina Haina, gave the new owners their blessings in opening the restaurant, the news release said. The Ranch House will be open from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. A fundraising event benefiting the Waikiki Community Center will be held on the evening of the grand opening.
