Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., has selected NeuLion (News - Alert) as the exclusive provider of digital Internet streaming.

Fans will get live, HD video for many Barclays Center events. Viewers may watch the events via pay per view, subscriptions or for free, along with live advertising. NBA games are not included.

The streaming video can be viewed on PCs, smartphones and tablets. The streaming service will be found on the NeuLion TV Everywhere Platform. Among the features are: replays of key plays, program guides, event highlights and DVR. It will also offer diverse camera angles, audio choices, and additional content from back stage or interviews with players.

"We are thrilled to continue expanding our strong technology portfolio through our alliance with NeuLion," Brett Yormark, CEO of Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets, said in a company statement carried on TMCnet. "Barclays Center now has the opportunity to share some of its diverse lineup of world-class sports, concerts, and entertainment events with a global audience."

Earlier this year, the Ivy League partnered with NeuLion to create the conference's first digital-sports network. It will be available in August, and accessible on PCs, smartphones and tablets. There will be a nine-channel network of Ivy League content. Each of the conference's eight schools will have their own channel and the Ivy League will have its own league-wide channel, TMCnet reported.
