The 2011 TMC Social CRM Award Is Open For Entries

Norwalk, CT (July 21, 2011) - TMC, a global, integrated media company helping clients build communities in print, in person, and online, announced today the launch of its 2011 TMC Social CRM Award, sponsored by Customer Interaction Solutions.

The Second Annual TMC Social CRM Award is seeking nominations for this elite list of the best social media applications. Consideration for the award will include companies which provide social media applications, services, sites, techniques, tracking solutions, and case studies.

The growing importance of the social channel is prompting innovative solutions to enable organizations – including contact centers, enterprises, etc - to fully tap into its potential as a CRM, voice of customer, brand management, lead generation/qualification, collections and HR tool.

Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, Twitter (News - Alert) and corporate sites like TripAdvisor have become the most innovative tools in communication between customers, employees, suppliers and companies. The functionality of these technologies truly replicates how people actually interact: by listening, engaging and then passing information on to others. The social channel provides the electronic equivalent of face-to-face group conversations.
